This big leaf maple burl wooden bowl is chock full of birdseye and ray figure. It has a natural edge (watch out for the “thorns”, they’re sharp) and a raised foot. Big leaf maple is from the Pacific Northwest. It is highly prized for it's lumber but also for the burls which grow quite large.
This bowl would make a lovely wedding gift or housewarming gift.
Food safe, natural, oil finish.
