This ambrosia maple wood bowl has very thin walls, about 1/8”. You might need to put a rock in it to keep it from floating away. It has one ambrosia beetle hole that I did not fill. This shallow maple bowl would be nice as a dining table centerpiece or full of wrapped candy on your office desk or full of bath salts for the bathroom.
It has a tapered, undercut rim and a raised foot. Southern ambrosia maple gets it's name from the ambrosia beetle who bores into the living tree.
Food safe, natural, oil finish.
