This black walnut crotch burl bowl has four stunning chatoyant helix figures. This black walnut bowl was made from one half of a piece of walnut board I have been saving for years. I can’t wait to turn the other half to see if it is as nice as this one.
You can often see a hint of what kind of figure lies beneath the rough exterior of a log or plank but you have to turn it to tell if it's going to be stunning. This hand turned bowl is just beautiful.
This walnut bowl has a tapered, undercut rim and a raised foot.
Food safe, natural, oil finish.
