This honey colored white oak bowl has beautiful ray and fleck figure. This shallow white oak bowl was made from a quartersawn plank. A quartersawn plank has the growth rings perpendicular to the face. The figure in this oak bowl is chatoyant, appearing to change when you turn it in the light. The rays and flecks look like schooling minnows.
The acorns in the picture are for scale, not for sale and are not included with the bowl.
This oak wooden bowl has a tapered, undercut rim and a raised foot.
Food safe, natural, oil finish.
