#1970 Quilted Maple Wooden Platter

Intensely figured quilted maple wooden platter with raised bead rim. The bead gives a secure grip when using it to serve. Raised foot. I’ve had this plank for 8-10 years and I’m finally making platters out of it. The figure is stunning. It is chatoyant, the ripples seem to move when you turn it in the light. The quilting reminds me of ripples on a pond. Food safe, natural, oil finish.
